This photo shows Clark Hungerford, second from the right, discussing plans to honor the St. Louis Municipal Opera on June 3, 1960. Clark was a self-made man who ran several railroads (the Frisco Railroad at the time) and was assigned in the Korean Conflict the task of coordinating all the various railroad lines to work in sync to get America's home front troop and supply movements done efficiently. He was also the St. Louis Opera Association President at the time. Sitting with him to discuss the event is (from left to right) Vincent Price (the famous actor), Mimi Benzell (an opera and Broadway star), Earl Wrightson (singer and TV actor) and far right--Gene Wilkey (VP & General Manager for the CBS owned station KMOX-TV).
